Thunderclap is a way of automatically sharing the message about the People's Climate March scheduled for September 21, 2014.
Thunderclap can best be understood as an opportunity to amplify the message and speak out for climate. The message reads as follows:
"Today I stand in solidarity with the #PeoplesClimate marchers. Climate change is here and it's time to take action. http://thndr.it/Zioec"
The People's Climate March takes place a couple of days before the UN Climate Summit on September 23. The Climate March is meant to send a message to those leaders urging them to act on the climate crisis.
Whether or not you plan to attend the March or not you can join the movement with an online Thunderclap. Thunderclap will schedule your Facebook or Twitter post to go out on September 21st. While New York marches, your message and hundreds of others will be posted at the same time, creating a critical mass that can’t be ignored.
Your voice matters. Every marcher, tweet, and Facebook post makes our message louder and stronger.
Click here to join our Thunderclap today to share the climate message on Facebook or Twitter.
