Deutsche Bank Says Half of all Known Fossil Fuels Reserves Need to Stay Underground

A Deutsche Bank report talks about the impact of fossil fuels and makes the point that we are rapidly approaching the point where we will not be able to add any more carbon to the atmosphere without unleashing the worst impacts of climate change. The Deutsche Bank Research House market analysis was published in the January issue of Konzept.

The article is called "Peak Carbon before Peak Oil," and it intimates the beginning of the end of fossil fuels. It further indicates that if we are to seriously combat climate change, most of the known fossil fuel reserves must be left underground.
