Event - Energy and Climate Change: National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment

The 15th National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment will take place on January 27-29, 2015 in Washington DC. Organized by the National Council for Science and the Environment This event will engage over 1,200 leaders to expand and accelerate their efforts and work across the traditional boundaries. Through partnering organizations, the conference will advance solutions with specific initiatives and engage participants over the long term.

For climate change, this is time of urgency, big ideas, and hope. 2015 will be a year of decisions – particularly at the 21st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris.

The 15th National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment: Energy and Climate Change will develop and advance partnerships that focus on transitioning the world to a new "low carbon" and "climate resilient" energy system. It will emphasize putting ideas into action - moving forward on policy and practice.

Leaders in science and engineering, policy and governance, businesses and civil society, and education will convene to expand and accelerate their efforts and work across the traditional boundaries. There will be inspiring speakers, informative sessions, amazing opportunities to network and form new relationships, start new projects, and advance solutions.
