Making connections between STEM education and the natural world Join environmental educators of every description and discipline from across New Jersey and beyond to learn and share innovative ways to connect students of all ages with the natural world – and help them be better equipped to defend it.
This year, conference presentations and workshops investigate ways that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) can be integrated with environmental education to help us better understand our planet and its systems, and explore how STEM subjects can be utilized in the quest for a truly sustainable future.
The conference is an invaluable professional development opportunity for any and all educators. Presentations and workshops will feature EE in elementary, secondary, higher and adult education, green school practices and model programs, natural history interpretation, community-based environmental projects, issue-based outreach and more.
