Airbus has developed an experimental electric plane that may signal the future of aviation. The plane is known as the electric E-Fan training aircraft. To build the plane Airbus used some highly innovative technology including an all-composite construction. Airbus Group and its partners are currently testing the plane with the aim of constructing a production version of the E-Fan at an industrial facility close to Bordeaux Airport.
