This video documents the type of violent intimidation that indigenous people face for little more than living on land that is rightfully theirs. In this video a violent gang of gunmen is seen terrorizing a community of Brazilian Indians. The gang is "security service" hired by the rancher who seized and cleared land belonging to the Guarani Indians in the 1970s. In this attack, one woman was injured, and hundreds of others have been brutally attacked. This is a tragic story that plays out in countries all around the world. In a bit more than a decade almost 1000 people have been murdered for protecting their land or exposing illegal logging.
