Green Solutions Conference for the Restaurant Industry (Event)

On May 15, 2012 at the Atlantic Cape Community College, Mays Landing Campus, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. a conference will be held titled "Green Solutions Conference for the Restaurant Industry." Mays Landing Campus is located at U.S. Rt. 322, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing, N.J.

In partnership with the Atlantic County Utilities Authority and the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. Join us for this informative conference where industry experts will discuss how to make sustainability a part of your culture, the cost of doing nothing, practical green solutions for small and large operations, and ho to implement a “buy local” produce plan and green-influenced kitchen design.

Rick Dovey, president, Atlantic County Utilities Authority, will discuss how to get started with commercial recycling and Gary Conover, solid waste director, Atlantic County Utilities Authority, will present a case study on how a wastes audit helps improve the bottom line.
