The 25th annual SEJ Environmental Journalism Conference will take place on October 7 - 11, 2015 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. The campus is home to the National Weather Center, which is the source of every single tornado and severe thunderstorm watch in the United States. The changing nature of extreme weather is an increasing part of all our beats; you will not want to miss a chance to see this center and talk to its experts.
SEJ has a 25-year history bringing conferences to where news about our beat gets generated.
Oklahoma is a state built by Big Oil and agriculture, with a rich Native American tradition. Bring your notebooks, because we'll fill 'em with leads and sources on fracking and earthquakes, farming and water use, tribal government and land protection, severe weather and science.
