USGBC-LA's 2011 Green Gala

On November 3, 2011 the USGBC-LA held its annual green gala. The theme of the 2011 Green Gala was “Branching Out,” reflecting the Chapter’s broadened focus on engaging USGBC chapters, new members and communities beyond the building industry who have sustainable initiatives, information and goals that are parallel to that of the nonprofit USGBC.

This year’s Green Gala featured the premier installment of the USGBC-LA Sustainable Innovation Awards and Keynote Speaker, Jason McLennan, CEO of the International Living Future Institute.

The event had over 400 attendees and participating organizations including Southern California Edison, AEG, Gensler, Glumac, and Morley Builders.
