Dr.Robert Feldman, Chief Economist, Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities Co., Ltd. Energy and the Macroeconomy: Challenges and Pitfalls

He joined the firm in 1998 as the chief economist for Japan. In 2003, he also became Co-Director of Japan Research. Robert focuses on the outlook for the Japanese economy and financial markets and policy developments. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he was the chief economist for Japan at Salomon Brothers from 1990-97.

Mr.Tony Segadelli, Managing Director, Owl Energy Transferring Success of RE Projects in East Asia to Japan’s Context

Mr. Segadelli has worked in East Asia since 1994 and has a strong understanding of the techno-commercial risks associated with the power industry having taken coal, CCGT and solar projects through financial close in both Thailand and Australia. He established the OWL Group in Thailand in 2009 and he has grown the company.

Mr.Arthur Mitchell, Senior Counsellor, White & Case

Arthur Mitchell has over thirty six years of experience, much of it in Asia, and is considered to be one of the leading American lawyers specializing in investment and financing transactions in the region. Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Mitchell was General Counsel of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and supervised all aspects of legal advice given with respect to documentation of public sector and private sector loan transactions, equity investments, and political risk guarantees.
