Course - Sustainable Energy Options (Green Energy Introduction)

Sustainable Energy Options (Green Energy Introduction) will take place on September 7, 2013, in Woodbridge, ON at Living City Campus, Kortright Centre, 9550 Pine Valley Drive. This course will give an overview of various sustainable technologies including solar and wind energy electrical systems, solar domestic hot water, wood heating and geothermal systems.

The course will help home or cottage owners decide what technologies make sense for them, considering their own motivations and resources. It will also provide participants with an understanding of technologies in the renewable energy sector. Motivations such as energy independence, energy security, environmental impact and economic investment for using each technology will be discussed. (Lunch is provided).
