The World Future Energy Summit 2013 (Event)

This theme of this event is "Powering the Future of Energy Innovation" it will be held on January, 15-17, 2013, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The event will be attended by over 26,000 people from 137 different countries. As the centerpiece of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, WFES will join forces with a series of other sustainability and renewable energy initiatives which include Renewable Energy Conference (IREC) and International water summit (IWS). The momentum created by these co-located events will highlight WFES as an unrivalled global platform of expertise.

WFES 2012 Opening Ceremony speakers included the Premier of China and the Prime Minister of Korea, as well as the President of the United Nations General Assembly and the Secretary General of the United Nations. Heads of State and Heads of Government have used WFES as a unique global platform from which to launch initiatives, announce investment, make policy statements and deliver targeted media messages designed to raise awareness and increase business.

With interactivity and innovation as major themes throughout the event, there will be numerous opportunities for all attendees and speakers to build connections, and interact with the renewable energy industry's most senior players and decision makers.

To promote an informative and lively conference experience they are seeking out the newest ideas and success stories from the renewable energy industry to shape our conference programme.

Individuals and organisations from industry, business, government agencies, non-governmental organisations, those at the cutting edge of research and development, market analysts and representatives of the finance and investment sectors, operating at the forefront of the international renewable energy and clean technology markets, are encouraged to submit proposals.

For 2013, WFES is focusing exclusively on renewable energy technologies and we are particularly interested in receiving presentations on the following themes:
