The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) is offering English language studies designed to help students to develop the skills they need to influence the global agenda. The title of the course of study is "Advocacy in International Affairs".
These programs provide students with the confidence, capacity, and connections to influence international agenda setting across multiple constituencies and stakeholders, driving change that delivers.
There are two study programs: 1) Executive Certificate and 2) Executive Master. .
Executive Certificate: This program is designed to increase understanding of the role of advocacy and its actors in international affairs and help students to develop the analytical tools and the strategic and communication skills to drive public opinion and persuade influential actors on current global issues.
Executive Master: This program couples the knowledge and skills acquired during the Executive Certificate within a broader context of global governance and policy-making, and the design of high impact strategies for institutions and clients.
The Advocacy in International Affairs Executive Certificate & Master are Executive education part-time (modular) programs, designed for professionals." These programs are designed for current and aspiring leaders and changemakers across all sectors and all career stages. Especially relevant for communications, public affairs, media relations and legal professionals, and practitioners as well as executives who require advocacy expertise in a global context, whether in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
