Canada's Greenest Employers

Here is the 9th edition of Canada's Greenest Employers. This list was announced on Earth Day April 22, 2015. Any employer of any size (public or private) may apply for this competition as long as they operate in Canada. This editorial competition is organized by the Canada's Top 100 Employers project and the winners were selected with the help of the Globe and Mail.

The employers in this list "lead the nation in creating a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations." These employers attract talent due to their environmental leadership. They were selected based on their environmental initiatives and programs as well as their success in reducing their own environmental footprint. Part of the selection criteria involves the extent to which they have involved employees in their programs and the extent to which these initiatives are linked to their public identity.
