Ray Anderson, was the founder and CEO of Interface inc. At the helm of this company he has increased sales and doubled profits while transforming Interface into a global sustainable leader. Mr. Anderson was a true pioneer in the field of sustainability. We all owe him a huge debt of gratitude for providing a great example of how profitability and doing the right thing do not have to be mutually exclusive. That is why he will be honored as a founding member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals' Sustainability Hall of Fame (tm) http://bit.ly/ISSP_HoF this September in Portland, Oregon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Mr Beradinelli. Very few people have been as influencial in the sustainable business community as Mr Anderson. I personally owe a debt of gratitude to Mr. Anderson. I am committed to paying it forward, as are countless others. The honors posthumously being awarded in Portland are much deserved.
